It’s no secret Samsung is working on a smartphone that will be as big as Apple’s iPhone 7, but it’s not clear how big.
The company has been talking about the possibility of launching a smartphone capable of breaking Apple’s $600 price tag.
The first Samsung smartphone, codenamed “M2” and expected to debut in 2017, will have a display with a resolution of 5 inches, as well as a quad-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera.
Samsung says it will be able to take full advantage of Android Wear devices, but will not support the iPhone 7’s iPhone X or the iPhone XS Max.
Samsung is also aiming to make a more affordable smartphone, and its next flagship, codename “M3,” will be smaller than the M2.
