Rechargeables, rechargeables, bulbs and solar chargers are coming soon to India and it is time to start looking at them.
This week, a consortium of leading manufacturers including AnandTech, Innokin, Raveon and Suntech announced that they will be releasing rechargeable lighting devices and solar accessories in the country, including rechargeable lamps, rechargeably bulb, rechargemable spotlight, rechargeible lithium batteries and rechargeable lithium cells.
The announcement was made at the New Delhi International Auto Show, the largest auto show in the world.
In a statement, Anandtech said that the devices will be available for sale in the first half of 2017.
This means that by the end of the year, all the major auto manufacturers will be able to have a range of products that meet the needs of the consumers.
The new products are expected to offer a range from 1W to up to 2W of power.
According to the statement, the devices, which include rechargeable batteries and solar panels, will offer the following features:Lighting range: 1W of illumination.
Low light threshold: 20 per cent.
Low battery life: 3 to 7 days.
Charging capacity: 2 to 4 hours.
Charger temperature range: -40 to +90 degrees Celsius.
The devices, all of which will be sold at Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,-5, are expected by the manufacturers to be a very good option for the next generation of consumers, said Anand Tech CEO Vishal Singh.
“In India, there is a need to get more and more people to use electric cars, but there is no other product that has been designed to provide this level of energy security, said Singh.”

The two have an interesting and very powerful combination,” he added.
The companies are working on a range in the range of 1W for 1-W rechargeable lights, which is a feature that is very useful for a lot of people, said an industry executive.
According to Anand Technology, the products are going to be available from November this year.
