You can buy an Airtel lithium battery and use it to recharge your smartphone or laptop, but you can also make the battery into an electric vehicle charger.
That’s the plan for Airtel, which has been a major supplier of rechargeable batteries for mobile phones and other devices since 2007.
The company sells battery packs that can be used to power electric vehicles, including the Model S and Tesla cars.
Airtel announced a $19.95 monthly charge to users of its Airtel EV rechargeable battery pack earlier this month.
The Airtel charger was made specifically for use in electric vehicles.
Airtel says it is the world’s first battery charger that uses lithium ion batteries to provide energy storage to electric vehicles and can store up to 2,500 miles of battery life.
The company says it makes batteries for about 300 electric vehicles a year and plans to sell 10 million of the battery packs over the next four years.
AirTel also says it will begin manufacturing its chargers for EVs at a factory in India later this year.
AirTel plans to produce batteries for electric vehicles in China and other Asian countries.
It said it expects the number of air-battery sales in China to reach 30 million by the end of 2020.
AirLink, which makes batteries used in vehicles including the Tesla Model S, also announced plans to make batteries for EVs this year, although its plans have not yet been announced.
The lithium ion battery technology used by AirLink was designed to store energy for a short period of time without needing to charge or discharge the battery.
Airlink’s batteries store up a small amount of energy for long periods of time, allowing it to provide up to five hours of range for EVs that are only charged and de-charged once a day.
Air Link said in a statement that its lithium ion rechargeable car batteries have an energy density of about 7.8 kilowatt-hours (kWh), which is about one-fifth the density of lithium ion cells.
AirSource, which also makes batteries, said it plans to begin producing lithium ion car batteries by the first quarter of 2020 and to sell up to 10 million batteries by 2020.
